ISLAM
VERSUS CHRISTIANITY
I
receive many dozens of
letters, e-mails and
phone calls with
questions about the
relationship between
Islam and Christianity.
Most Christians have no
idea what Islam is about
and many actually
believe Islam is similar
to Christianity. Christianity
has nothing in common
with Islam.
Christianity is a
religion of peace; Islam
is a socio-political
movement established by
Mohammed to conquer
territory, steal
property and take
slaves.
Over
the last few weeks I
have been collecting
questions about Islam
that have been sent to
me. It was my intention
to write answers to
these questions and then
publish the material.
However, I have
discovered that this has
been done for me. Two
brothers raised as
Muslims who later
accepted Christ have
done just that ... taken
questions commonly asked
by Christians and the
media about Islam and
its relationship to
Christ, and written the
answers. Their book is
called More
Than a Prophet.
Whereas Mohammed claimed
to be a prophet, Christ
was far more; He was God
in man. This book
belongs in your church
library. In fact your
preacher probably should
be teaching from More
